Welcome to Sports Program Printing’s Fundraising Central!
Hello, and welcome! We’re glad you’re here with us for the grand kickoff of Sport Program Printing’s Fundraising Central.
Help! I’m Surrounded By Crazy People!
Here at Sports Program Printing, we’re serious about helping schools and boosters of all shapes and sizes raise the funds to keep their teams in business. We’re committed. We’re dedicated. And we’re just a little bit crazy! As parents, friends, former and current athletes, musicians and theatrical enthusiasts (one of our CSR reps has a cross country meet tonight, as a matter of fact) we’ve got a lot of motivation and enthusiasm for what we do…sometimes a little too much enthusiasm, so don’t be surprised if you find that we tend to err on the side of zany.
Whatever else we may be, I promise, we’ll never be boring.
What We Do
What do we do? That’s a great question. Professionally, we help schools cut out the thousands of dollars their athletic, theater and music departments spend to design their program books by offering a free, downloadable version of our professional design software they can use to build their books themselves. Personally, we do our best to keep life as interesting, fun and free of monotony as humanly possible. You’d be amazed by how well the two go together given the proper motivation…
We Don’t Bite, So Come Back Soon!
This blog will be updated 4-5 days a week, and while I can’t always guarantee what days those are going to be I can guarantee that we’ll keep a steady flow of fresh information coming your way. If you’ve got a particular topic, subject or strategy you’d like to talk about here, let us know…or better yet, let me know you’d like to write about it yourself! Even I get sick of listening to myself talk sometimes, so I’d be happy to have you as a guest blogger to share your expertise.
Now for the Boring Part…(AKA Da Rulez)
I can hear your cries of outrage already echoing from my screen (Mere moments after I promised to never be boring? Quel horreur!), so I promise, I’ll keep this quick. This blog is, and should be, a welcome sounding board for your ideas, your thoughts and yes, even on occasion your frustrations when it comes to raising the money you need to keep your programs in the black, but there are a couple of rules and regulations I need to toss out to make this an awesome community resource for everyone. Please:
1) Share and share alike!
Offer your thoughts and comments, and comment on others in return.
2) If there’s something you don’t understand, or you would like more information on, ask!
If I can’t help you, it’s a safe bet someone else can.
3) Remember, there are neither winners nor losers here, just teammates working together to help everyone succeed.
Comments containing derogatory content and personal attacks toward other individuals, schools or teams will be promptly deleted by the blog administrator.
4) Feel free to recommend products or services that you think will benefit everyone, but please, no SPAM.
We have tight SPAM controls set here, and because I personally will be moderating all comments SPAM of all shapes and sizes will be deleted. Immediately. (Unless it comes in a can, in which case it will be devoured on toast. But it still won’t be posted here.)
5) I have no objections whatsoever to being quoted, referenced or linked to by other blogs, websites and articles, but please, give credit where credit is due, reference properly, and provide a link back to the site whenever possible.
6) If there’s a particular post or article from this blog (or anywhere on the site) that you would like to include on your website, drop me a line and ask first.
There’s a good chance I’m going to say yes! On the other hand, swiping copyrighted material without permission isn’t just illegal. It’s just plain mean.
7) Please refrain from using profanity in your comments. I promise, I’m going to do the same.
Is that it? Thinking…thinking…yes, I think that’s it for now. Again, thank you for visiting Sports Program Printing.com, and we hope to see you again soon!
